TIDE: Technology, Innovation, Design, and Everything

TIDE came about as an idea to bring together(network) the web developers/designer community of Kenya and engage them in healthy disucssion/debate on the various issues in the industry not only from a Kenya perspective but also from a global perspective. We envision a full network and mentorship community that educates, builds and challenges. 

At the end of it we intend to achieve the following:

1. Build a vibrant technology/design community.
2. Mentor the current and next generation of techies/designers.
3. Cultivate new ideas as well as provide backing for existing ideas.
4. Network and provide opportunities (jobs, internships) for the community.

P.S. This is not a "Multiple Choices Company Only" event, we are open to all people out there that share a common interest in technology.

Update: TIDE Has now grown to encompass professionals and entrepreneurs, although it was originally targeted at techies only the event now brings together business and technology entrepreneurs.
